According to its producer and permanent associate of Bowie, Toni Visconti, the main goal of recording it was to 'avoid rock'n'roll, which is why you can find elements of jazz, electronics and krautrock, a genre popularized by German bands from the 70s, i.e. Can or Kraftwerk. All wrapped in the haunted, unlike any other vocal by David Bowie.

Refunds
