Papo 50209 Scorpion 8 Cm Wildlife
BRAND NEW SHOP STOCK
Papo50209Scorpion
A formidable little predator, the
scorpion fascinates as much as it impresses. Easily recognizable by its
large pincers and curved tail ending in a stinger, it lives in hot and
arid regions around the world, from deserts to savannahs.
A nocturnal hunter, it hides during
the day to avoid the heat and comes out at night to hunt its prey,
mainly insects. Surprisingly, the scorpion glows under ultraviolet light
thanks to substances present in its shell, a natural phenomenon that
still intrigues scientists. Another curiosity is that some species can
survive for several months without feeding!
This Papo figurine faithfully
captures all the details of a scorpion: articulated pincers, segmented
body, and menacingly curved tail. An ideal model to enrich a wildlife
collection, invent exciting stories, or educate children about the
astonishing diversity of the invertebrate world.
