This is the answer to the hot summer days in Japan. Cold brew coffee allows for the delecate flavours to come out of the coffee without bitterness and can be stored for a few days.
How to make cold brew? We recomend 5-6g of ground coffee per 100ml of water. You will want a relatively fine grind, not espresso grind but probably finer than a French Press. Add the coffee to the water and leave to steep for 12-36 hours. You will need to experiment a little depending on the coffee you are using. Once you are happy simply remove the filter containing the grounds and enjoy or store in the fridge to enjoy later.
