the Manchester-based NIGHTJARS.
The band got off to an impressive start: their first ever gig
was an improv show alongside Damo Suzuki. Yikes.
For this debut album they managed to recruit US alt.
scene staple and production hero Kramer, who
manned the desk on all seven tracks on this mini LP.
'You Set Me Reeling' kicks the album off with a strong
melodic emphasis, only to suffer slightly from having a
chorus that doesn't deliver on the promise of the verse.
BBC Radio's Marc Riley has compared The Nightjars to
Husker Du, and there's certainly a case to be made for that:
the guitars thrash around in the same sort of fashion
as you'd hear on something like Candy Apple Grey
(albeit without the choruses), but Towards Light
doesn't quite give you enough to hold onto.

Refunds
Sellers have to offer a refund for certain items only if they are faulty, such as: Personalised items and custom-made items, Perishable items, Newspapers and magazines, Unwrapped CDs DVDs and computer software. If you used your PayPal balance or bank account to fund the original payment, the refunded money will go back to your PayPal account balance. If you used a credit or debit card to fund the original payment, the refunded money will go back to your card. The seller will effect the refund within three working days but it may take up to 30 days for Paypal to process the transfer. For payments funded partially by a card and partially by your balance/bank, the money taken from your card will go back to your card and the remainder will return to your PayPal balance.
