It is luxuriously soft, incredibly lightweight, exceptionally warm and comfortable to wear. It will not wrinkle or pill and it is anti static. SUPERIOR WARMTH & LIGHTWEIGHT: Research has shown that it is 55% warmer than Merino and 35% warmer than cashmere. The superfine merino wool provides natural warmth and insulation while still allowing your skin to breathe. Possum fur is an amazing hollow fibre that offers superior warmth and is ultra-lightweight. EVERYDAY ESSENTIAL - A simple, timeless beanie that pairs effortlessly with any outfit or outdoor look. SIZE: One size fits most. Crafted in New Zealand - Sustainably made using renewable fibres, designed for warmth, quality, and everyday versatility. SUSTAINABLE CHOICE: The Australian Brushtail Possum was introduced to New Zealand (NZ) in the 1850s and is now wreaking havoc on natural wildlife and native forest. As well as competing directly with native birds for food, possums eat birds’ eggs, chicks and insects. This threatens the survival of many of NZ’s native plants, insects & birds, including the iconic flightless Kiwi. The need to control the number of possums saw the development of a specialised natural fibre. The NZ Department of Conservation and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) support the use of possum fur. So, by choosing to luxurious Possum Merino knitwear, you're helping to preserve the fragile and beautiful NZ environment.
